Bath

Today the four of us went to Bath.  The entire town is designated a World Heritage site.  First we toured The Roman Baths.  It was very interesting.  The Romans built the original baths.  In the 1700's Bath became a destination for Royalty and other posh people who thought that the baths and the water would cure whatever ailed them.  Of course it didn't.  The Roman baths were discovered in the late 1800's.

After lunch we took a 2 hour walking tour.  We learned about the history and architecture of the town.

It was a very enjoyable day.  Bath is definitely worth exploring.
